Problem:

You lost your administrator password to osCommerce.

Solution:

This tool will allow you to enter an Administrator's name and password and generate from that an SQL statement that can be used to reset the lost password.

This tool is compatible with osCommerce version 2.2RC2 and all versions of MySQL.

Available Options:

To reset your osCommerce Administration Password, use the following form to enter your administrator login id and a new password to be used. Clicking on the reset button will produce an SQL statement that can be used to update your administrators table and reset the password.

The information entered here is not stored in any way. If you are still concerned about entering your credentials, feel free to use an invalid login id and change the SQL statement to use the correct one when submitting the information to your database.
