Keyword Density Analysis Tool Rules:
Various sources suggest a keyword density of between 2% to 4% for
your targeted keywords. Keep this in mind as you use this tool.
Search engines use a special set of rules when calculating keyword
density. They ignore "filter words," which are words that provide
little or no meaning to the text in question, such as articles and
personal pronouns.
Specificlly, this tool ignores all one and two letter words, as
well as the following words:
head, html, meta, table, title, and, but, for, from, here,
her, his, how, not, than, that, the, them, then, these, they,
this, was, were, with.
This tool tries to mimic the search engines as closely as
possible. But keep in mind, this is not an exact science and
the various search engines all employ different algorithms.
This tool is also not case sensitive. It will also try to
account for the use of words in plural form. You can enter html
in your text. Anything found within angle brackets (< and >)
will be ignored.
